Group Stage Procedure
The UEFA Europa League group stage draw took place on Friday 26 August in Istanbul, where 32 teams were drawn into eight groups of four. Arsenal has been drawn into Group A.
Group winners will advance into the knockout round play offs. Winners of this stage advance to the round of 16, defeated teams are elimnated from the competition.
